J. Dale Gonzalez is a 30+ year veteran of the technology industry. He has been a developer, led development teams and founded software companies. From 2008, he has been leading cyber security focused product teams with the last several concentrating on models to measure and improve the effectiveness of cyber security controls. He is the author of several pieces on security effectiveness and was on the reading committee for the general purpose C2M2 released by the Department of Energy in February of 2014. In 2023, he and his team built a platform targeted at insurers to quantify cyber physical risk, which won back to back awards in 2024 and 2025.
