App Instructions
To Get Started
- Visit the App Store and install AppSheet.
If you need help or have questions about the app, email app@levelzeroconference.com.
2. Scan the QR Code found on the signage around the conference center.
a. Use your camera to do this
b. QR Codes are square and look like scrambled eggs.
3. If first app install does not work, try again.
4. Open the app and select Challenge Coin at the bottom right.
To Register as a Game Player: It is important to manually refresh the app frequently!
- Select the Player Registration button
a. If you do not see this button, you are already registered. Skip to Playing the Game.
2. Scan the colored barcode on the BACK of your badge.
a. Select the four-square symbol to the right to bring up the scanner.
b. Bar codes are rectangular, have horizontal lines, and a number.
c. Fill in the fields or scan the QR code on the FRONT of your badge to auto-populate some of the fields.
d. Don’t forget to save!
3. Optional: If you would rather enter the numeric, select the hamburger menu, then choose Settings and switch to Hand Key. Save.
a. Tap in the field and the keyboard will appear.
Playing the Game
- Once you are registered a four-part menu will appear.
a. Make a Connection
b. Show Connections
c. View My Game Stats
d. View All Game Stats
2. Select Make a Connection
a. Select the four-square symbol to the right to bring up the scanner.
b. Scan the barcode on the back of the connection’s conference badge.
c. Fill in any additional fields or add notes.
d. Don’t forget to save!
e. Select Make a Connection at the bottom left to make the next connection or use the back arrow to return to the menu.
3. Use the other three buttons to investigate how the game is going.
a. Show Connections – shows all the connections you have made in a list
b. View My Game Stats – gives a statistical analysis of your connections
c. View All Game Stats – gives statistics on all game players performance
Errors
- It is important to manually refresh the app frequently!
2. If an error message appears in the upper right hand corner, follow these steps:
a. Select the hamburger menu
b. Choose reset
3. Optional: If you would rather enter the numeric, select the hamburger menu, then choose Settings and switch to Hand Key. Save.
a. Tap in the field and the keyboard will appear.
Sponsors:
Follow the same instructions for playing the game!
- The main difference in the sponsor interface is across the bottom of the screen. They have three buttons instead of two.
a. Scan Attendee – goes straight to the scan attendee interface
b. Scan History – goes to a three-button, sponsor only, menu
c. Challenge Coin – goes to the four-button, game menu
2. Scan Attendee: used the most, for scanning conference attendees at the booth
a. Select the four-square symbol to the right to bring up the scanner.
b. Fill in any fields that do not self-populate
c. Save
d. Add notes as necessary
3. Scan History – Three button menu
a. Scan attendee – the same as above
b. My Scanned Attendees – a list of all attendees scanned with the ability to add notes or send email
c. Company Scanned Attendees – List of all attendees scanned by all members of the same company
3. Challenge Coin – opens the game menu described under Playing the Game above
